Events & Opportunities for IU Staff

Intro to High Performance Computing

December 2021, 2 - 4 p.m.

This workshop introduces IU faculty, staff, and students to High Performance Computing (HPC) and the resources UITS Research Technologies (RT) makes available to them at IU to empower their research. This hands-on course will cover the basics of using IU’s supercomputing systems, from logging-in to job creation and submission. Knowledge of Unix is useful and recommended, but not required for the hands-on exercises.

Candid Conversations for Caregivers

December 2021, 1 p.m.

Whether you care for kids, parents, or any other loved one - especially in this pandemic-era, grab a cup of coffee and come chat with IUWIT leaders Kim and Melanie and other caregivers like you! This event is open to anyone of any gender.

BTAA WIT Coffee Catchups

December 15, 2021, 10 - 10:30 a.m.

Join the Big Ten Academic Alliance Women In Technology Group (BTAA WIT) the third Wednesday of each month, 10-10:30 am & chat briefly in small groups with colleagues across the Big Ten about a rotating monthly topic.
