Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA) Women in IT Coffee Catch-Up

This diverse group helps expand connections and provides a place for respectful dialogue, timely questions, and broad sharing of best practices and insights. BTAA-WIT meets on the 3rd Wednesday every month with changing topics open to anyone. The topic for October’s session will be “Rock Your LinkedIn Profile.”

ITLC - Conversations on Leadership: Servant Leadership
October 26, 2022 1-2 pm
These events will be hosted in small groups and identify topics for future discussions. During this month’s session, we will be focusing on servant leadership, which has been shown to lead to higher employee engagement. Join this session to better understand what servant leadership is, the steps you can take towards becoming a servant leader, and how we can operate as servant leaders within the IU IT environment.
Introverts as Leaders, presented by Madeleine Gonin (UITS) and Catherine Matthews (IUHR)

Can introverts be leaders? Join this workshop to discover the opportunities and challenges for introverts who are interested in leadership roles. Knowing that introversion is not something to overcome, but something to embrace, we will discuss the strengths that introverts bring to the workplace and strategies for introverted leaders to survive and thrive. In this workshop we will use a variety of individual and small-group activities to discuss and develop strategies for creating healthy work environments for all.
