1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Various; See description

We are excited to host the second annual BTAA WIT virtual conference, “Leadership in a Culture of Constant Change.” Last year’s conference, Lead from Where You Are, engaged more than 600 attendees.

Presentations:

Disruption as an Opportunity

Disruption is a constant presence in our lives, and can stem from forces in our professional and personal worlds. Join a group of women leaders in educational technology as they discuss the ways that disruption has created opportunities for reflection, learning, growth, and humor in their lives and careers. Audience questions and engagement will be an active part of this session.

Speakers: Stacy Morrone (Indiana University), Jennifer Sparrow (Penn State), Liv Gjestvang (Ohio State), Sherri Braxton (UMBC), Maggie Jessie (Iowa)

Leadership Superpowers

Big Ten CIOs Michele Norin (Rutgers) and Lois Brooks (Wisconsin) will discuss their leadership superpowers, specifically how they discovered, developed and rely on them.

This workshop is sponsored by the Big Ten Academic Alliance Women in IT group with local support from IU Women in Technology (IUWIT) and the IT Leadership Community.

IU WIT and the IT Leadership Community will host watch parties on each campus (see below). The conference is free and all are welcome to attend.
